WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHUTTLES AND PRIVATE TRANSFERS? Private transfers are scheduled based on your itinerary and can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. You and your travel companions will be the only passengers.

How do I book a return shuttle?

Select the first leg of your journey from the option above.
Select your first date of travel and the number of guests in your group, then click "Continue".
On the next page under the item you just selected, before you enter your personal information, select the return leg of your journey.
Select your return date of travel and the number of guests in your group. Click "Continue" to add the return trip to your booking.
Fill out your personal information and follow the prompts to complete your booking and payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will the shuttle pick me up?

Shuttle services are door-to-door. We will come right to your hotel or home to pick you up and drop you off. You do not need to meet us at a central location.

When will the shuttle pick me up?

For domestic flights, the pick-up time is typically two hours before the flight’s departure time. If you would like more time please make note of this in the “Additional Notes” section of your booking. The reservation team will reach out to you to confirm your pick-up time.

For international flights, the pick-up time is typically two and a half hours prior to the flight's departure time.

If your travel plans take you through another Canadian airport before departing the country your flight is considered domestic.

Please allow 5-10 minutes leeway for pick-up and drop-off times.

When will the shuttle pick me up at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW)?

Unless otherwise arranged, pick-ups for incoming domestic flights are 30 minutes after the flight lands and 60 minutes for international flights.
If your travel plans take you through another Canadian airport before arriving in Kelowna then your flight is considered domestic.

Where do I meet the shuttle at Kelowna International Airport (YLW)?

Unless other arrangements have been made, the shuttle driver will meet you at the arrivals area of the airport near the baggage claim.
Please do not go to any other area of the terminal unless explicitly instructed to do so by the driver.

What if my flight is delayed or changed?

If there are any deviations from your original travel plans, please contact the office at 250-717-8452.
If your flight is delayed and the shuttle driver has already established communication with you, please keep them updated.
If your flight has been changed, please call the office and provide your new flight number and time. We will make every effort to accommodate your change, pending availability.

What if I can’t find the driver? What if they can’t find me?

It is our standard practice to text guests before they arrive. Please turn your phone on immediately upon entering the terminal so the driver can communicate with you directly. If the driver is unable to reach you by text message the driver will call the number on your reservation. If the driver is unable to reach you by phone they will have you paged over the intercom in the terminal. If they are unable to reach you by intercom the driver will consider your booking abandoned and depart without you.

How long is the trip to Vernon?

The trip to Vernon typically takes 30 minutes.

Is there a restroom onboard the shuttle?

No, Cheers! vehicles do not have restrooms onboard. We strongly recommend guests use the facilities at YLW after they connect with the shuttle driver.

If guests need to make a stop en route we ask them to please inform the shuttle driver. The driver will make accommodations as soon as it is safe to do so.

What if my luggage is delayed or lost?

If your luggage arrives on the same plane but is delayed coming out the shuttle will wait.

The shuttle does not wait for lost luggage or for guests to enter an in-person claim with an airline representative.

The shuttle driver will provide the customer service phone numbers for all major airlines so you can start your claim while on the shuttle. Air Canada and WestJet also offer an online baggage claim service.

Cheers! strongly encourages guests to pack a change of clothes and all required medications in their carry-ons as well as pre-purchasing sufficient travel insurance to cover unforeseen costs incurred by lost luggage.

How much luggage is included with my fare?

Private shuttles allow for as many pieces of luggage as the vehicle can hold. A trailer may be required if you are travelling with a large amount of luggage. Please note the total number of bags in the notes section when booking. A team member will reach out if we deem a luggage trailer necessary.

Is the shuttle wheelchair accessible?

Yes! upon request. If you require an accessible vehicle please make note of this in the “Additional Notes” section of your booking.

Do you service areas surrounding Vernon?

Yes! Include your address as normal, and should your booking require customization, the admin team will be in touch with any required adjustments.

Does the shuttle go to Lumby or Armstrong?

Yes! Include your address as normal, and should your booking require customization, the admin team will be in touch with any required adjustments.

Does the shuttle go to Predator Ridge or The Rise neighborhoods?

Yes! the shuttle goes to both Predator Ridge and The Rise neighbourhoods for no additional cost.

Do you service areas beyond Lumby and Armstrong?

I need to to cancel, what are my options?

  • An administration fee of $50 will be applied to all cancellations. Postponements do not have fees.
  • Guests cancelling more than 48 hours before their first date of service will receive a full refund, less an administration fee of $50.
  • Guests cancelling less than 48 hours before their first date of service will forfeit the booking total.
  • If alternate dates are available, we will make every effort to accommodate your reservation.
