Advance requests and appointments may also be required at wineries depending on seasonal variations and guest requests. Many wineries only accept visitors by appointment.

All-Inclusive Pricing

Our wine tour prices are per person, in Canadian dollars and include: Taxes, Gratuity*, Tasting and tour fees, Pick-up/drop-off at your accommodation, Complimentary bottled water and delicious snacks, Air-conditioned vehicles, A knowledgeable, fun and professional tour guide. NOT included: Meals, Speciality Tastings**, Wine Purchases, Souvenirs

* We include a pre-paid 15% gratuity to safeguard the dignity of our guests at the conclusion of their tour. Often our guests are overwhelmed by the exceptional service received and our tour hosts receive wine or additional gratuities.

** Some wineries do offer the option to taste their premium or reserve series, port-style wines, and Icewines; these tastings are often available for an additional charge.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment & Cancellation – Tours and DIY Tours

Full payment is required to confirm your reservation.

Guests have up to seven days prior to the service date to cancel. An administration fee of $50 will be applied to all cancellations. Cancelling less than seven days prior to the service date will result in forfeiture of the invoice total. However, should alternate dates be available, every effort will be made to accommodate your reservation.

Deposit & Cancellation – Event Transportation, Golf Transportation, Dinner Transportation, and Wedding Transportation

Upon reservation, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Full payment is required seven days in advance of the service date.

Guests have up to thirty days prior to the service date to cancel. An administration fee of $50 will be applied to all cancellations. Cancelling less than thirty days prior to the service date will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancelling less than seven days prior to the service date will result in forfeiture of the invoice total. However, should alternate dates be available, every effort will be made to accommodate your reservation.

Deposit & Cancellation – Boat Tours & Charters

Upon reservation, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Full payment is required seven days in advance of the service date.

Guests have up to seven days prior to the service date to cancel. An administration fee of $50 will be applied to all cancellations. Cancelling less than seven days prior to the service date will result in forfeiture of the invoice total. However, should alternate dates be available, every effort will be made to accommodate your reservation. Safety is paramount. Boat charters are subject to cancellation due to extremely poor weather conditions (winds in excess of 20 KM and/or signs of lightning), in which a full refund will be returned. Simple rain or wind under 20 KM isn’t considered extreme, tours are rain or shine. In the event we must shorten a tour in operation due to foul weather, we pro-rate the time unused onboard and provide appropriate refunds where applicable.

Deposit & Cancellation – Airport Shuttle, Ski Shuttle, Hockey Shuttle, and RIDES Pre-Bookings.

Full payment is required to confirm your reservation.

Guests may cancel up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled service for a full refund. Cancelling less than 48-hours prior to the scheduled service will result in a forfeiture of the invoice total or a $50 cancellation fee, whichever is lesser. YLW recommends guests arrive at the airport 90 minutes before domestic flights and 120 minutes before international flights. Cheers Okanagan Tours will not be responsible for missed flights.

Flight Alterations – Delays & Flight Cancelations

Should your flight be delayed or rescheduled we will do our best to accommodate the change. Guests are responsible for contacting Cheers with updated flight information and times. Cheers does not guarantee the accommodation of time changes. Changes greater than 1-hour of the original booking time may require re-booking. A re-booking fee of $50 or the shuttle total, whichever is lesser, will be applied. All bookings are pending availability. Cheers strongly recommends guests have sufficient travel insurance to cover missed or re-booked shuttles due to airline changes.

No Shows
Failure to meet the shuttle or contact Cheers will be considered abandonment or your reservation. Full price will be charged when re-booking an abandoned reservation.

*All cancellation policies apply from the date of the original booking. Cheers Okanagan Tours reserves the right to change equipment, guides, departure times, and/or facilities due to unforeseen circumstances and/or availability.

Children

In accordance with provincial legislation, only adults aged 19 and over are permitted to drink alcohol. Children are permitted on all tour excursions. Guests are required to inform Cheers at time of booking if they intend to have minors accompany them on tour.

Meals

Lunch tours exclude the cost of lunch. Cheers Okanagan Tours Ltd. will make restaurant reservations for your group. We may adjust the restaurant location as per restaurant availability, group size, guest requests, and other factors. Guests order à la carte and pay the restaurant directly. Restaurant and dietary requests are welcome, but are not guaranteed. Cheers Okanagan Tours Ltd. is not responsible for communicating food allergies or dietary restrictions and guests should inform the restaurant of such upon arrival.

Pick-up

Cheers Okanagan Tours Ltd. is pleased to offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to our guests, and we often pick-up guests at different locations for a tour. Please be considerate of other guests and be ready for pick-up at least 10 minutes prior to departure. Your tour guide will collect you at the front doors of your accommodations unless otherwise notified. Please contact us immediately if you foresee any difficulties.

Scents

Tasting wine is a sensory experience, including the sense of smell. Cologne and perfume can have an adverse effect on you and your party’s tasting experience, and on the experience of other guests visiting the winery. Please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume, and other heavy scents when embarking on your wine tour. Lipstick and lip gloss can also have a detrimental effect on your tasting experience.

Code of Conduct/Liability

Your tour experience should be a positive one. The following promotes a safe and enjoyable environment for you, our guests, and our tour guides. By confirming this reservation for yourself and other guests, you assume full responsibility for all guests on your reservation, and further understand and agree to the following:

NO alcohol is permitted to be opened or consumed in tour vehicles. Guests are welcome to purchase wine and other products on tour, but may not open or consume them in our vehicles.

NO smoking is permitted in tour vehicles.

Spills, excessive soiling, and/or damage to tour vehicles will be subject to a $250 fee, to be charged to the same credit card used to confirm the reservation.

Cheers Okanagan Tours and individual wineries and other facilities visited during tours reserve the right to refuse service to any guest for any type of misconduct, inebriation, or other unruly behaviour. Separate transportation for disruptive guests may be arranged at the discretion of the guide, and at the expense of the guest. Tour fees will not be refunded to disruptive guests.

Cheers Okanagan Tours reserves the right to change tour vehicles, guides, departure times, and/or wineries due to unforeseen circumstances and/or availability.

Cheers Okanagan Tours shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and lost income or funds in any way due to, resulting from, or arising in connection with the service provided; including its contract and any contract assessed through our office, use of that agreement, and /or display or performance of any agreement, regardless of any negligence by any party.
