Yes, all our Wine Tours and Top-Tier Wine Tours are private, meaning your group only.

Do not worry; all our guides start the tour with a down-to-earth “Wine 101” tasting education. You’ll learn how to taste wine like an expert and discern the wines you’ll love every time.

Yes, guests under the age of 19 are permitted on private tours. If any guests on tour will be under the age of 19 please make note of this in the “Additional Notes” section when booking.

To protect the dignity of our guests, gratuities are included in the price of the tour. Should you feel your guide went above and beyond, you are welcome to bless them with an additional cash gratuity or have the office apply it to the card on your booking.

Tastings are included with the price of your tour. Occasionally, wineries will offer guests the option to taste specialty wines, such as icewine or library wines. These specialty wine tastings are not included in the tour price; the expense is the guest’s responsibility.

Yes, guest requests are welcome, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Ultimately, it will be up to the winery’s availability. Requesting specific wineries may include an extra charge as their tasting fees may be outside what is included in the tour. Feel free to include your winery requests when booking; the reservations team will reach out with any relevant information.

In short, no, you do not have to taste every wine or finish every sample offered. Wineries often provide spitoons for guests to spit or pour out their excess wine. If one is not provided, simply request it from the server. Why spit? Your guide will cover this and other wine-tasting techniques during the Wine 101 tasting education.

Classy but comfortable attire is recommended. Themed dress is welcome, but any accessories must be in good taste. Feather boas are welcome on the tour vehicle, but not permitted in any wineries.

The Okanagan Valley is semi-arid and has a large lake running through it. Due to these factors and the mountains surrounding it, the weather can be somewhat unpredictable, changing throughout the day, most noticeably during the spring and fall months. Please dress for the weather and bring an additional layer if you are easily chilled.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on private tours and permitted in most wineries. Several wineries have resident dogs. If you are bringing a dog or service animal, please make note of this in the “Additional Notes” section when making your booking.

While you do not need to bring water on tour you are welcome to bring whatever you feel is necessary to make your experience more enjoyable. Private tours include bottled water which can be refilled at water stations available at most wineries.

Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own food or snacks on tour. Please keep in mind that spills and excessive soiling of any kind are subject to a minimum $250 cleaning fee. We strongly recommend leaving foods and snack that can easily create a mess at home.

Yes, we provide accommodation for guests with mobility aids. If you are touring with a guest who utilizes a mobility aid other than a wheelchair please make note of this in the “Additional Notes”. If you are touring with a guest in a wheelchair please book an accessible wine tour, available here.

General cleaning is included in the price of your service. Spills and excessive soiling are subject to a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

What Our Guests Are Saying

“Wow…What a Day!”

“Cara and I had such an amazing day on our first-ever Kelowna-based wheelchair-accessible wine tour! Our guide, Lou, was very informative and went above and beyond to make sure we both had an amazing time. We’re already thinking about the next time we can join Cheers for another tour!”

Andrea W.

“Great Time on Tour!”

“We had the absolute greatest time on this tour. The vehicle was comfortable, clean and spacious. But what really set it apart from other tours I’ve done was Lou (our guide). She was not only knowledgeable about the wineries and their history, but also very kind and accommodating. The day was a great success because of her, and I would highly recommend this tour company!”
